Background:
London-based investment house ARjENT hired Ascension in April 2006 to establish a profile for its alternative investment portfolio among high net worth individuals, in particular using alternative investments in pension schemes. ARjENT also wished to launch a new service to the IFA community. ARjENT had absolutely no media profile – though it was one of London’s fastest expanding City investment firms.
Goals:
- First, a marketing strategy to promote SIPPs solutions to ARjENT's client base
- Second, to successfully launch the IFA platform and establish a media presence in the consumer personal finance media
Ascension delivered:
- A full marketing strategy, including the key buying triggers and channels
- Advice for setting up the ARjENT Charitable Trust
- 30 pieces of media coverage, including the FT, Sunday Telegraph, Financial Adviser and Investment Week
- A return on investment of 829% (for every £1 spent on PR, the return was £8.29 in advertising space)
